I record a lot of fishing shows on DirecTV Vs channel 603. The other day I noticed I had nothing recorded. I then realized that Vs dang near has 24 hour a day Tour de France coverage. Does anyone give a rip about the TdF? Give me back my Bill Dance and Hank Parker!!!

I just returned from a 2 1/2 weeks fishing/working trip in Central Florida (Tampa Bay, St. Johns Pass, and Port Canaveral on the East Coast) and the Keys (Duck Key where "Saltwater Experience" and "Into the Blue" are filmed) with TailWalker Charters. I had to use Super Shuttle to transport me home, as my rods/case would not fit into a Tax/Limo, and after 1 hr and 45minutes (will never take another superShuttle bus) I wanted to relax at home (this 100deg heat is kill'n me after 80s and 90's with rain every evening) with some more fishing this past week to find the intro (or something) of this TdF. They showed a group of guys, riding on a wet road, with a support/chase car passing too close on the left. Resulting in a guy hitting the car, and the bike sliding under the guys next to him. Then one guy goes horizontally airborne (flipping parallel to the ground) and into a wire (maybe barbed wire) fence. I was shocked to see it, but wanted to see more, but it was only a preview. ...other than that, I haven't watched it.

The crashes are exciting, but not nearly so enough to warrant watching that ridiculously long race. To me, anyhow.
