I just purchased a 8ft Pelican Bass Buster Boat.
It is a blast catching fish out of this thing on ponds and lakes.

I want to join a tournament type fishing club where only Jon boats and small boats with very little motor power is allowed.

Does anything like this exist in North Texas or surrounding cities?

I am in Grand Prairie, TX.

Are there many people in the North Texas area interested in starting a club and interested in having tournaments.

I think it would be so awesome to see 10+ small boats fishing a tournament.

I use to own a Pelican before I bought my boat. Those boats are beast!!!

Me and a buddy use his Pelican ALL THE TIME and love it. We would definately be interested.

We got 2 boats interested so far.

Lets see if we can get up to possibly 10 boats then maybe we can get this thing up and running.

I wish you luck man. I fisha Pelican as well. I tried to get something going last year in this area with little interest.

I have one going already, but I will jump on with yall.. I have a tourney going on this saturday at athens..

We have had 2 tourneys already, allowing under 15hp... we had around 5 boats on each tourney..

thinking about White rock or purtis creek for tourney next month...

As it stands we have about 7 people/boats interested if I understand everybody's posts correctly.

I will setup a website soon and it will have all the necessary info you will need to start fishing in these tournaments.

BTW how do you like that toontroller? How doe sit compare to the regular 10 ft bass raider type boats??
