lost a HEAD in a CABA tourney on Ray Roberts year before last. she jumped within arms reach at the boat and spit out the hook/brushhog.
only good bite all day. brutal day

Fished the KYKX Big Bass Lake o the Pines one year and my partner was working on the trolling motor. We were backed up in a laid down pine tree where the wind pushed us. I caught a few dinks casting along the bank over that tree. Then as I reeled my rattle trap in front of the tree I saw the biggest mouthed bass I have ever seen come at my trap 2 feet from the boat. Saw me and turned literally 1/2 inch away from biting the trap. It made the bass in the tanks look like dinks. I could have easily put 3 fists in its mouth. Makes me sick just thinking of it lol. It was 30 minutes before the end of the tourney too.
