Last Thursday me and anothe fellow Tff's member got a chance to fish with Mark pack. This guy really know his stuff and really works hard for you in heat were having. Mark kept our fishing trip simple and explained what we were fishing andwhy the fish were there. We got on a really good jig bite and it was light out for them bass. We ended up with 38. We lost maybe 15 because they kept jumping off. At one of our last spot Mark took us to I threw my jig out there and felt that thump on the end of the line. I set the hook and the line wrap around the boat seat. ( it was crazy) . After getting it untangled I start fightin the fish, then it took me in tree and I thought I lost her. But Mark told me give her some line and when I did she came out of that tree. As she got close to boat I saw her and thought its a DD. This was one of the crazies fish catch I every had. WE thought it was 9 and half but after weighing her she 10.2 lb. Mark said that number 20 in his boat this year of double digit fish. Any ways Mark will post pictures later but Mark is the way to go if your looking for guide out at Fork. I can't wait to fish with this guy again. Thanks Mark. Fork is still the best lake I've every fish. I love me some Fork.

Mark's really good. A friend took his son with Mark for graduation. He told me his boy loved to bass fish and was good at it. Of course, Mark had to teach him how to throw a baitcaster before they could start fishing LOL. Not to be discouraged (it was cold, windy and rainy, too) what's Pack do? Puts the kid on an 11 and a 10-11!

Many years ago I had two rods custom built for Mark and myself. The guy out of Cali. who made them did some really elaborate wraps, both butt and guides. He signed the rod "Custom Built by Dave Bell for The Packman" and did a yellow Packman in thread on the blank. He broke his. I still have mine. In fact, I caught that 14 on it last Saturday!

I couldnt agree more on Pack...I have my 4th and 5th trip booked with him on 7/28-29th, all of these have been since April of this year...I'm committed to the boy!!!! I can guarantee one thing...We will have some good food and some good times all over again!

Pack, Im bring some extra Red Bulls and Goose for our big girl drinks at the Lodge for Wed and Thur night...Come see me when you get off the lake Wed, I believe Dana has me in the Longhorn up front again!

Great story on your fish Bud...Dr. Pack-en-stien IS the hardest working man in the Bass fishing business, FO SHO!
