1. Your hooking percentage will increase if you remove the plastic hook protectors. 2. You can cast further if you have your line running through every guide. 3. Some folks still run through the fish trying to troll. 4. It is still a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

Excuse me ......... Lots of fishermen bend their barbs down to not hurt the fish ; HOWEVER , A REAL Fisherman keeps the barbs enclosed in the plastic hook covers which certainly can not inflict any pain on the little fishes since you can not hook or catch them. This is what a REAL sportsman chooses to do, thank you. I rest my case.

wait a min...we are suppose to use a hook on sassy shad?? I have been tying the line straight to it. I thought fish just jump in the boat when I drop it in the water...
If there is water...I will find the fish in it

LMAO I thought I must have been the only guy that tied on a new bait from Moes with the plastic still on the hook lol. I lost 2 hybrids before I realized it. Good stuff right there.

Fast guy like Larry the Cable guy says I don't care who you are that was just plain funny! I can't say that I left those plastic covers on there. But I will say they are a challenge to get them off... Have sent several buddies to Moe's and didn't have the heart to not tell them about the plastic covers. Even after telling them one guy forgot and lost several fish! Live and learn.... Happy Fishing.

A nice pair of fly tying scissors take care of hook covers. When you get 10,000 lures, the covers save the day!
FastGuy I learned a few things last week at Twak, but can't put them on TFF! Matt thanks for picking up my guys at the dock???

They cant see em, so no need to take em off.
