guys, i bought the g loomis east fork and tfo mkII. but what i want to tell ya'll is what a great experience it was to get to meet and talk fishin with an outstanding individual like mr. roberts. and come to find out, i live in the house that he lived in for 30 years. small world i guess. i've got a 600 acre freshly cut bermuda hayfield out my back door and have been practicing with my new toy. awesome setup. thanks again, mr. roberts, hope we can fish together someday.

...i've got a 600 acre freshly cut bermuda hayfield out my back door. Now we know where you got the money for those great rod and reel combos: illicit forage sales.  It won't be too much longer in this drought that the wacky weed is cheaper than hay. Congratulations on your new whippy sticks.

Unsolicited advice of the day: Be careful what time of day you're practicing your casting in that durn-near square mile of hay.

I agree crusty old B. Or big L has a wealth of angling knowledge and tackle knowlage I also hope to slap some water with him when the temps fall back to something bearable. I would even chase dem green trash fish with him if he is captian of the boat....probably learn something :-)
