Took my daughter there once. We caught several small channels. She was more interested in the park and swimming pool that the fishing though.

fished this morning.

They stock it weekly with 12" channel cats during the summer, so dont expect to catch anything bigger than that. lots of mudcats in there too. fishing was slow this morning, used hotdogs, caught 2 channels and a mudcat usually in 2 hours in the late morning i catch 8-10 fish.

there are also lots of little sunfish in the pond, which is fun if you have kids, as well as a fair number of bass (i have only caught smaller ones, up to about 12")

The biggest problem i have with the pond is the parents who dont control their children. I have absolutely zero problem with kids feeding ducks while i am fishing, i love seeing the kids out there, but it seems like every time i go, i end up with 3-4 kids litteraly within 10' of me feeding ducks and screaming/running in circles, and there is usually empty spots along the bank with ducks all around the pond.

I have also been catching fish, and had guys/young teenagers come stand withing 5 feet of me and cast out.

So all in all, if you get there early enough/late enough to avoid the kids it is a nice little pond to catch a few eaters at.
