Ok here is any easy one for most of us to join.
All you have to do is have that fish of a life time right up to the boat and then some how some thing always seems to Mess up. I have even dove in for a possable Lake reoord, after the line in my hand broke while trying to lip her. net was in the floor of Boat

Dont' even get me started about the one I lost at El Salto. So close, yet so far. Painful but exciting memories for a lifetime.

I'm the king of losing big fish. Especially in tournaments.

every fish i've ever lost was HUGE.

More than I care to remember. Lost one this spring at Grapevine trying to lip her. Easily the biggest bass I've seen not mounted or in a tank. As soon as I touched her she drove straight under the boat, and that was that. I was sick for a week after that.

Looks like every fish you catch is huge.

lost a HEAD in a CABA tourney on Ray Roberts year before last. she jumped within arms reach at the boat and spit out the hook/brushhog.

only good bite all day.

Lost what I determined to be a post WWII submarine in the trees at Falcon last year, never could turn her.. peeled drag until she popped the 25lb invisix in the brush.

only fish in memory that I KNOW were huge, either by sight or location & fight (falcon..duh.. winning.) Ive lost plenty of other fish, but have not hooked into a TON of monsters by Texas standards.

we're pretty blessed with some amazing largemouth bass fishin round these parts.. if losin a 5lber doesnt break your heart(fun fishin), you know your spoiled.

Did it 3 times last weekend at Falcon.

+1 on Falcon I still lose sleep and it was over a year ago.

Luckily I haven't lost any big dogs. I've got on DD and a couple 7+ so far. The DD should have sawed me off on timber

I've only caught two dinks in texas so far but only been fishing a lake with fish for a couple weeks.

This weekend I was practicing with a football jig. Kept snagging and was getting annoyed. The fourth time I snagged I was ready to give up. Line dtarted pulling drag and rod damn near doubled over. I hit the trolling motor to go back towards where I was snagged and suddenly the line started freaking out and swimming all over the place, realized I wasn't snagged, I had something big on there. I fought it for a couple minutes, saw a HUGE splash when it got near the surface then SNAP. breaks off right at the end. I look at the line when it comes up and there's a buncha gnarly spots on it where I rubbed rocks the first few snags. I feel like a tard in the aftermath.

I would like to join the program. 3 times I've missed what would be new pb's. Missed a really big one during a tournament, but I don't know how big she was.

LMAO...I will second that as I have witnessed it countless times. Hopefully, those days are behind you.
