I said I wanted to go fishing tonight. So she said I have some things for you to do first. I now have to change the oil in her grandmas car(why I do not know she doesn't drive anymore) Then I have to fix the wooden fence in the back. By fix she means replace 1 board and paint the whole darn thing. Skim the pool (I have an auto skimmer so I just said ok) And then clean out the gutters, I don' think it is gonna rain in the foreseeable future. All thses things are in the hot sun and she told me a noon while leaving once again to go shopping. LMAO women?

Get it all done and go fishing or don't do it and go fishing.

It's cheaper to keep her.

Good grief maybe she IS trying to kill you.

Not that the grass is growing in this heat, but DH getting out an mowing our small little yard leaves him dripping in sweat. It's just SO darned hot. Dehydration and heat stroke are major threats right now so I'm not even willing to push him to mow in this heat. He gets out there and does it when needed anyways, but I wouldn't push. Not when I've got to see him sopping wet and beet red from overheating.

To set up a list of chores that would keep you in NOON DAY SUN for HOURS... heck one of which you add in possibly falling off the roof... and all of this she doesn't even offer to pitch in to help with... she could handle the skimming, help with painting easily enough... sorry but that's a selfish and scary woman you got there.

Elegance lies in simplicity.

When one guy at work complains about his wife, I tell him (remind him) that HE is the one who married her, therefore in the end, he will have to deal with it, or deal himself out.

New study (research findings) have found that the grass IS greener on the other side. However, it an illusion. When looking straight down at your grass in your yard, you see the ground between the blades of grass, therefore making it look much thinner knit. But looking at an angle at the yard next door, you see theirs from an angle that makes the blades of grass look much fuller. So it IS & it AIN'T. It's all relative upon your angle at a given moment.

One way, is to throw the ball back in the other court. Such as you cherish shopping as a hobby & such. So if I have to give mine (catfishin') up today, I ask that you give me a hand & do likewise. We'll get it done qwikker & then still (hopefully) have time to get back to our hobby. OK, well, it looked good in theory. You never know 'til you try.

Holy [censored] man...if I was you I would fake a heat stroke or something and make her feel real bad...be laying in the lawn under the ladder when she comes back from shopping and be unresponsive, but thats just me.

Keep on truckin' Bart, your doing good deeds for your family and your woman. Sounds like you have a honey do list, but someones gotta get that stuff fixed smile

If you love the woman and your happy than no reason to look any further. Every married man ends up at sometime with a "honey do" list.

Just sucks yours is mostly in the heat. flame

-Zach cheers
