Will be in the Rockport/Port Aransas area next week Tues-Sat. Anyone else gonna be down there? Would love to hook up and get our knees wet!

Family trip, heading down Monday 7th-coming back the 10th. Staying at SandCastle Condo's.......8 year old and twin 3's, not much fishing for me, maybe some surf at daybreak, taking the 8 to fish of the South Jetty in the afternoon a day or two,......I've talked to the Captain, we're going to see about one morning of me getting out and wading somewheres........I'll email you my number and see if I can do a short morning wade......but as mentioned it's a family trip, not a fishing trip......you don't know how hard it is to say that.

I understand... I've been there. Drop me a line.

I'll be down with the wife but this a fishing trip for us. She says she wants to camp, wade, and catch fish. Of course, I can only guarantee two of those.

Y'all have a great time next week. Relax and enjoy the time with the family.

The way the weather looks - early probably will be better, before the afternoon thuderstorms. Been real calm here in the mornings.

As a side note, how would the fishing be near Flour Bluff, near JFK causeway. If there is parking and the construction would not get in the way? Thinking about giving that a try next time I'm down.

Scottie
