How do you get all your stuff to the fishing hole. I slapped this together this weekend. Actually works ok off road. I usually travel light but if spending the day or night fishing I'll bring a lot of stuff. What do you use. Lets see some pics.

Thats nice.

I dont have one. Im always moving so I travel light.

Each time I got to the Saltwater piers, I see lots of folks with carts like these that they built themselves.

There's some people on Craigslist that even offer to build one.

Nice cart Todd. All you're missing is a fold-up chair & a big sun umbrella. You will be set then.

I use a 2-wheel dolly. My wife got it for me. Well, actually it fell off a Budweiser Beer truck she was driving behind & almost hit it. She stopped, picked it up & brought it home. It has big wheels & tires on it. Made moving 2 fridge very easy...

That's a great idea I have to make 2 trips and I worry if my stuff from the first trip will be there when I return.

Same here thats why I made it. Dolly was on sale for $15.00 at harbor freight a while back. 2x4, pvc, and some bungies and you're good to go.

That looks good... You can also use it as your rod holders when you get to your loction.

I took a jogging stroller for a toddler that my neighbor had outside for a year or more... it was pretty trashed. All I did was put 2 slabs of plastic to keep poles from falling through, get some rope and there you go. What I like about mine is I can put as many poles together that the reel part can fit in a 5gal, bucket, strap the bucket on and then strap the other end. It lays at about a 45ish degree when pushing, if there is a lot of trees, I just pop up the front end and the poles lay flat. Its great... I will post pics next time I set it up. I think I will be putting my gear together thursday for an early sat. morning trip to pier 121. Ill try and post friday. Also, Im going to makeshift a "trailer hitch" that will hold onto the front wheel of the cart and VOILA, I get to be lazy and get to my fishing hole a little faster.

I'm thinking i will make one similar to the OP, but also add rodholders to the underside of the cart, so that after i unload it, i can turn it on its side and use it for rod holders..

Alright here we go... I have a couple minutes.

First is my cart. Simple but effective.

Second, is what it looks like(without all my poles) whenI use it for a long walk...That is my "A" frame 5 rod holder I use for catfishing hanging under the pole.

Third, is the bike I am fixing up and what it will kinda look like... I just need to make a hitch of some kind for it.

Fourth, is just a different angle

Fifth, is the back view.

And last but certainly NOT least... It folds up nicely to fit in the back of my Element.

It may not be fancy, but it will get the job done for the long walks by the creeks, or if I want to fish the Lewisville bridge and can now park a ways off. The cart is somewhat finished, all I need is a couple tweeks for it to be perfect. Does anyone have a large burlap sack they dont need?

My tackle bag is actually a back pack tackle bad that holds almost every thing I need. With a little planning and taking only the lures and plastics I think I'll need, I'm able to carry that, 2 rods, a chair and drinks.

Yeah, I got a back pack also. The bucket is for rods, throw net, whatever else I may need it for and fish I catch for now. I would like a burlap sack for carrying the fash back... I think the sack will work, just dont know for sure...And the Aframe is kinda heavy. Im just wanting to be lazy, so I gotta work for my goal.

I'm Ms Everything But The Kitchen Sink... actually got that very award back in 4th grade.

Tonight DD and I went to Elkins in DWG and we had the big red (from the Disney store, Mickey/etc, HUGE) bag with bread (kaiser rolls that started getting moldy), worms, weird dough bait, rod holders, small tackle box, lantern, small gladware of soap, stringer, locking pin to your pants forceps... and a few other things I can't think of...

Then our two folding chairs in bags...

Then the cube cooler with wheels and handle with old two liters now frozen solid ice for keeping drinks cold and fish too...

Then three full size poles plus DD's 2' one...

Good thing parking isn't all that far from the bank huh?

Oh and when I say tackle box I mean the exact tackle circle that's in the first pic... my attempt at modifying a bucket (blue oddly enough, you been to wally world Denton?) has hit a slight snag so I'm just tugging it and a chair at the moment... grr.
