We're heading for Galveston soon and would love some tips on where to fish around the area. We've tried Seawolf park (Some small fish) off the Jetties (cat, croaker and a Pomp') and have had great fun on the bay side of the state park (croaker, red fish 21" & 23" fish, two sand trout about 18"). We have two dogs so nothing to difficult or restricted for them and don't mind traveling a bit.
We wondered about heading down to San Luis pass area any tips or spots would be welcome for some newbie's!
Thanks

Where is that? I've seen it mentioned in other posting but have no idea where it is.
