I was in Brownsville Saturday and saw a news report on south padre island warning everyone that there was an unusual amount of rays in the area. And several folks were stung. They even showed a fisherman who had caught a 150lb ray.

i saw one last year that came off the BAY side of texas city dike that went 188 pounds, now thats a big ray!
