Howdy all. I usually wade Moses Lake or West Galveston Bay with my Dad once a month or so, and as far back as I can remember, we've always used live bait. I've tried tossing artificials from time to time on my own, but can't seem to have any luck. I realize that certain times of the year, live bait IS the best choice, but I would love to have options, if nothing's hittin' the shrimp/ croaker. Any advice/techniques/direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Jake

since i fish the exact same spots as you i would have to go with a norton sand eel in pearl/chaurtuese, or a red/pearl cocahoe minnow. i have caught reds, flounder, trout and just about everything else on these baits. also, try a top dog jr. early and late in the day
