Never fished Eagle Mountain, was wondering if anyone out there knew of any good catfish and sand bass locations on the lake. I will be fishing from a boat...FYI. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

For Sand Bass, start out south of the islands. Follow the group of boats around and enjoy.
You will catch plenty.

I'm usually out there catfishing but have seen the boats following the sandbass before. What's the proper etiquette when following them?
Luke, fish cut shad around the island for some decent channel and blue catfish.

Luke, fish cut shad around the island for some decent channel and blue catfish. as far as i can tell, as long as you keep enough space so as not to cast on one another, sandie fisherman seems to not care. that being said, i dont fish for sand bass, but i always see 3-4 boats around the schools, so i assume that is just fine.
