Growing up my family had a place in Pelican Bay. One side should be covered in lily pads, frogs and lizards pulled over the top of them work pretty well. The side with the lily pads usually doesn't have as bad of a problem with skiers and jetskis.

Last time I fished it I had strangely good luck fishing off the boat dock and casting back towards the boat ramp. I fished all day on a boat and didn't even have a bite, in 15 minuets I had caught 1 3#er, and had two of unknown size on the hook (t-rig).

that was the good ol days! nowadays, those jet skis and ski boats are all over that area because it's usally more calm than the east side of the bridge. the jet skis use the lilly pads for thier obstacle course! LOL!

Thing is, all that water was 1ft or less water back in the 1st on June. I would love to watch them suckers plow out through the mud hole now.
