OP Rowan Outdoorsman R Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 47 Friendswood	What would be a good place to fish leaving from houston suburbs? I've got a fishing trip planned on friday but haven't decided where to go. Where are some good saltwater spots, from bank/jetty/pier that will allow me to catch fish that I can fry up? Or any freshwater alternatives?

You can also catch whites in Spring/Cypress Creeks leading into Lake Houston up by Bush Airport. Some say eat these at your own risk but I figure hot grease will either kill or combine and dilute whatever doesn't belong. But if conditions are right nothing makes a day like wading the bay...
