Try a topwater early then maybe move to flippin the timber, the deeper the better I would say.

Our tournament was this past weekend. Believe it or not the majority of the fish caught were caught in 3 to 4 foot of water on "laydowns". The best laydowns were those that the fish could get underneath, out of the direct sunlight. We had several fish up to four pounds caught, one over seven pounds and a couple near six. It was a really good day if you were flippin a jig or creature bait. Get you some stiff rods and some stought string and go for it. GOOD LUCK!

buzzbait and frog early then flip the points with timber. Also try up the south bosque flipping shaded banks along the channel. Hope this helps!

Reynolds Creek, enough fish there to stay all day, just have to slow down and thoroughly fish the laydowns where the creek narrows out to the lake. Fish holding tight to the timber from shallow out to creek bed.
good luck, worked for me last month.

I fished Airport this morning. Trip was cut short due to a tree falling down in my back yard. I did get one decent one on a jig though. Flippin the trash shallow, around a 4lber smashed it on the initial fall. Any one else get out today?

Need to throw some big bluegill swimbaits...poor Mark Fallon keeps trying to catch some big yellow cats from the bank, using live perch, and keeps running into 6# LMB, even had a 9-2 couple weeks ago...must be frustrating

I went yesterday evening again. Skunked! Had one blow up on a popper and that was it.
