Went to LOP this morning with a friend and ended up with 34. Caught them in 25-32FOW from 12-15' down. Most came on Bobby Garland cajun cricket and a few on shiners. We left the water at noon, at which time the bite had slowed and the heat bordered on miserable. If you go fishing in this heat, be sure you drink plenty of water b/c you are constantly being dehydrated from sweating. You don't want heat exhaustion or heat stroke, it's not fun. I drank seven bottles of water out there today and never had to take a leak.

claymc: My grandson and I are going early am, tomorrow, Friday. Hope our luck is as good as yours.
You're right this heat and humidity will get you if you're not careful. Congrats on the nice stringer.

Good luck to you. We caught most of our fish from 9-11:00. Not saying to not go early, but it didn't do us any good today.
