Background... I picked up a great Merc Trophy Plus 26P prop from C-Man back in 2009 and had B&B Propeller in Richland Hills recondition it. I kept it as a spare or occasional go-fast prop for my old rig that normally runs a 25P.

I think I would like to step my spare down to a 24P prop for times when I'm running rough water conditions, so here's my question for you prop guys...

Would it work to repitch my spare Trophy Plus from 26P to 24P, or should I start looking to see if I can trade it?

Thank God for Texas and the USA!!! - Ray

Pretty sure you can't drop 2 inches on a prop! But I would think somebody could work the blades enough to give you better holeshot. There a fella that everybody on here recommends from the Lake Fork area, he might post an answer for you or you might find his user name. I think it's steve@scp! Post this question in the boats & motor section, I know he goes over there quite a bit.
