while i dont really know where to fish in San Marcus....i have a friend who goes to college there at Texas State and has always wanted to set up with a lawn chair and ice chest and just fish the river that flows through campus....lol i do wonder what the students would do..but they are on break right now...lol not even sure you would catch more than perch, but if i remember right the river is the Guadalupe so there should be some fish there....lol take some pics i think it would be pretty funny

That is the San Marcos river. It will be full of tubers this time of year on weekends. Try east of town. The water is not crystal clear like in downtown (the tannin gets to it quick) but that will be where the fishing is at.

I was a bobcat back in the day. I fished a lot on the blanco west of IH35, not sure if it has any water in it though these days!!

Blanco is dry as a bone under 35. Some pools up and down stream but no flow.
