I caught some trash on a Zara Spook one time in the 80's. When I got it to the boat, I took the trash off, threw it back in and got a ticket for littering. Happened on Lake Taneycomo in Missouri. To this day, I'm still pissed off about it.
Like me for what I am, or don't like me at all.

not sure if this counts but my niece and i were fishing one day and she kept messing around throwing rocks i told her that a fish will pull her pole in the water and sure enough one pulled it right in and i tried to snag it up and had no luck.. Two days later was back at the same spot and I hooked into a fish that somehow twisted into the lost pole line and the fish and i pulled both in . the fish she would have caught was about a seven pound catfish and I ended up with about a two pounder..to me that was Strange or what were the odds..
EVERYONE NEEDS TO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING , I BELIEVE I'LL GO FISHING

Was netting Shad about 20 years ago on Ray Hubbard..by the tressel..and pulled up a car fender with some shad..even saved the net..think it was from a AMC Gremlin. Also while night fishing up in Little Caney on Fork in the early 90's..throwing a spinnerbait caught a Racoon..think it landed on a lay down log and the Racoon pounced on it..hate to say ..but wound up cutting the line..one lost Hilderbrant number 5.
In order to catch Big Fish..Sometimes you gotta Suffer.

I caught a heavy duty trash bag before. Talk about dead weight. Almost took as long to get in as my 53lb bluecat

I was fishing a pond in Lubbock across the street from a hospital and told my brother in law I finally had a bite.....when it came in I had a .25 revolver in a leather holster. We called the police to report it figuring there was a reason somebody ditched a pistol across the street from a hospital. When I told my dad he asked if they would give it back after checking it.......I didn't even want it back and didn't ask.

Me and my buddy were fishing lake Conroe about a week ago and I hung my crankbait on something. When we finally got it to the top of the water it was a cast net. Weird thing was before we saw the cast net a Harris county sheriffs department patch came up to the top of the water first needless to say I was a little nervous about what I was hung on.

Went to Arkansas for spring break my senior year of high school to fish. While drinking heavily and cat fishing we caught a weird looking thing that the locals called a mud puppy. When I first pulled that SOB up I almost fell over. 1/2 that was from the beers and the other half was shock.
Anyone ever seen these suckers? Nasty looking things.

My dad raised me up float tube fishing on Spring Creek in Mertzon. I remember him coming home one year with a homemade green kayak. He had been running trotlines and snagged the boat. On another trip in the same general area he pulled up a very old small outboard motor. In the late 80's early 90's the creek dried up and there was everything from lawnchairs to tires lining the bottom of the creek.
I drove through there last summer and was very happy to see the creek full, clear and flowing as it used to. Glad the watar marshall finally stepped in and got the farmers to slow down how much water they were pulling.
Fishing can make any day awesome; just try to get mad after landing a double digit bass!

the other day i lost a crankbait at grapevine. i tied on another casted near the same spot and got a decent hit on the new crankbait----------what was it? my lost lure! maybe not too wierd, but what are the odds of catching the exact same item. I once caught a chrome and blue Rat-L-Trap in a sealed ziplock bag. I had broken off the exact same model lure on the cast before that. Sometimes the lake takes away and then gives back.

While on Cedar Creek a few years backs my B-I-L set the hook on a 20lb beaver. Talk about pulling drag!!! That thing was pissed!! The scariest part was when the damn thing turned and tried to board the boat doing about 30mph. Chinese fire drill x 10!!
