Summer big blues have always been there, just dont think folks have given them much effort ....so much easier for any joe to catch them in the winter.....great job and keep up the hard work...much more skill involved versus winter time Got any tips for us bankfisherman? Sorry, not triing to derail thread but any advice is helpful and appreciated.I get very little time to fish in summer.

How deep you getting them. I can only get the small ones
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Oh yeah, I forgot details. The same thing I chastise others for. Nothin' new- bankin' a south facing point around 8-10'. 42" came in around 11pm then the 38" and the 40" came around 3am after a nice nap.

Hard to beat wrastling whisker dragons on the end of some juglines in the summer heat. Plus, I can't just crappie fish all year, wouldn't be fair to the catfish. Nice cats yall!

Would prolly pee my pants if that sucker looked me in the eye.
I'd be thrilled, I'm talking happy dance to top the one I did when Pudge got his Series, if I could catch one five pounder!
