Nothing against the place mentioned above, fine place, but if your looking for nothing more than a place to lay your head a good shower that comes with a low price, check out Anchor Inn.

Has anyone stayed at the cabins at lake Tawakoni?
I was thinking about staying there, is there any issue with leaving my boat at the marina?

Cottage on the Lake is the best I know of.They have a floating 4 slip boathouse with covered and uncovered table and chairs. Electricity, city water, everything you need on the water. Accommadations include a doublewide trailor with multi level deck, grill, table, chairs, on classic East Texas manicured grounds. I believe they have a 2 night minimum sleeping 6 or 7, I think. They book early so plan and book ahead. If you book me I can pick you up there and clean fish there. There is a link on my website if interested.
