New to the forum, looks like a great place. Just wondering if anybody has been out to Gibbons in the past few days. I was out 2 weeks ago and the water was pretty low. Just wondering if anyone has launched in in the last few days and has gone out towards the hot water discharge without encountering too many stumps. I know they are bad but I didn't go too far last time I was out and just wanted to see if anyone could fill me in on how thick the stumps are in the north east portion of the lake. Thanks.

Went last Sun, not too bad just keep a lookout and stay slow. I did see a guy speeding a got a fist sized hole in his boat Friday.

Well i'm running a 16ft alum lowe line, but I dont want to hook my hull or anything silly. I really want to get up in Gibbons Creek itself, just dont want to eat stumps or chew up my prop.

Yeah I hear ya, me and a buddy usually hit the first channel to the right and just ease in some areas.

I appreciate it, didn't know something like that was available. Pretty cool though. Wonder how accurate it is.
