I was out fishing with my family and had forgot my sun glasses. I told my son I wish i had a pair of sunglasses that the sun was hurting my eyes. About 30 Minutes later I caught about a three pound bass, when i lipped it I was completely shocked by what i saw....
A largeMouth Bass with a pair of sunglasses in its mouth!!!! All kidding aside, I praised God for the glasses and continued to fish. I dont question things that happen on the lake, just accept them. lol

My wifes first day on the water throwing a texas rigged worm she sets the hook and i think she is hung up. She kept reeling and this other line came out of the water so I thought she caught another tangled line. She caught the hook of another pole that was texas rigged lol. Caught an old school quantum rod / reel by the hook that was texas rigged too lol

I was throwing a crankbait on day and somehow hooked in the mouth a huge crappie that was filleted and had the skin still on both sides. Big ole head and just a skeleton. I also caught a motorcycle seat at Proctor on a jig and told the GW about it and they found the whole bike(a Harley Sportster) and removed it. They would not let me have it though.
Retirement best job ever.

I pulled up my anchor and almost needed a crane to get it in. I'd snagged a piece of LARGE ditchwitch chain about 4' long. If it didn't weigh enough already there was probably 20# of line, lead, jigs, hooks, steel leaders, etc. tangled in it. It was so heavy I'd have just cut the rope but really hated to lose the anchor.

Was fishing Lake Arrowhead back in the mid nineties one day. I hooked into somethng and started dragging it in. A older man who was fishing nearby got interested in what I had hooked. He came over to where I was at and could tell it was clothing or something. He just kept saying, "don't make that a body, dont make that a body". I finally got it in and discovered it was just and old work glove with a lot of sand in it. The old man was so disturbed that it might be a body, he packed his tackle up and immediately left the lake. Was just funny watching him gettin all worked up about it...LOL

Evil Knievel stunt bike with action figure still attached!!
Funny thing is I caught it off my parents dock about 10 years after I jumped it into the lake. Can't kill the Knievel.

Me and friend were fishing for crappie under the 515 bridge and we were out of drinks. We had just said how we were going to have to leave soon because we were getting thirsty, when I look up and a small cooler is floating by the boat. I snagged the cooler and opened it up to find a bottle of water and a Pepsi ice cold. Matter of fact the cooler still had a little ice in it. Couldn't believe it. We fished for a while longer and wished for a sandwich but that never came. Till this day we still laugh about the mystery cooler from GOD.
Two things in life you can never have to much of. Money or Fun!
