Anyone ever gone and was it fun. I will be up there bear hunting the first of August and was looking for some other stuff to do if i tag out early.

yes I have below John Day dam..I know there are guides that target the sturgeon.I would also look at the steelhead fishing especially the Klickitat or you can bank fish at Drano.Good luck to ya !!!

We went a few years ago at a place called the Dalles. It was a blast. didn't catch anything real big but did get a few to the boat that went over five feet.

http://www.reservefishing.com/ If you go reserve fishing there are several guides on a few of the rivers in Washington. You can see if they are available the days your are up there. Pretty cool site.
