Will tournaments like the Skeeter owners tournament and Big Bass splash tournaments let you run a 300 Horse motor? I know BASS abd others major tornaments limit it to 250.

No horsepower limit in the Skeeter Owner's Tournament but your outboard cannot exceed the BIA maximum HP for the boat it is being used on.
Which Big Bass Splash are you referring to? There are several that go by that name.

well I will be mainly fishing Fork and want to fish most of the tournaments they have there. And I am looking at a boat with a 300 Yam on it. The boat is rated for that size motor.

You'll be good for Skeeter Owner's for sure. That's really the only tournament I fish so can't speak to the other Fork tournies.

Sure. Sorry I couldn't answer as to the others. You might try posting your question in the Bass Section since that's where most of the tournament guys hang out, 99% of the time.
