 Took a quick trip to Grapevine last night

Got on the water about 8:30 and found an assortment of bait sizes.The bite started off a little slow.Finally boated the first fish about 10:00 and the bite was steady but slow.We ended the night with ten Blues up to five pounds.All fish were caught on whole fingerling shad or fillets drifting in 22-25 feet of water along the flats mid lake.

There are a ton of guys right now wishing they could catch 10 blues right now in this heat. 10 blues eating size would be a nice trip if you ask me. Good job and great catch man!  -Zach

going thursday , more to chase Sandies with the kids but will have to drag me a shad it looks like ..
