I am never again gonna say im on a pattern for the rest of this year. Been burned too many times when I think things are starting to act normal. But I will say the slab bite the last two days has been very good. Deep water on the east side has been good. 60-70 feet of water out towards Colbert north to washita point been best. Heavier slabs 1.5 to 2 oz needed to get it deep and then ripping it back to the top. Check out all of moe's slabs cuz that's all I'm using. Color and shape doesn't matter. Starting to get all the boat from the southern boat show
Moving north so it's obviously gonna be crowded in the next few days. Oh well.

Thanks for the good news JD.I will be up this weekend. Looking to get my 11 year old son on some good stipers. He loves slab fishing. Any good news for the west end of the lake? Big Mineral, Mill Creek, Buncomb Creek? I will post a report after we go.
