I need to replace the foot control cables on my Motorguide trolling motor. I am looking for advice or information that might make this project as simple as possible.

If it's a tour, the cables are taped to the electric wires about 4" down from the top grommet. Pull one out, use the last one to pull a small strong cord through, use this cord to pull both cables through, staggering the ends. If you'll call me at 870 773-3474 I can get the cables headed your way. will need the number off the bottom of the footpedal.

Thanks for the information John, that helps. I have the trolling motor at my boat storage. I will get back to you with the number on the footpedal.
