I used to set some throwlines on a sleugh at my Aunt's mother's ranch & catch 5# Bullheads, so I know they get up to that size.

id love to catch one that big. last one i caught was 6 inches on a 7/0 jugline with a 4 inch perch!

Should have weighed it. The recorded weights on them are low and that might have been a good one. The state record is 3.3 lbs.
