Just bought the Terrova and installed the i pilot. Does anyone know if it will work with the foot control disconnected?

Correct. It will work with either or both. I read that it could be used with both in the instruction manual but I never could find where it said you could leave the foot control completely off. Thanks

I installed mine last month and only used the foot controle once to test it. Only use the remote now. It's awsome!!!!! Best money I've spent so far. Makes fishing on windy days a whole differant game.
