Sure! Take 146 out of Baytown over the Big Bridge into LaPorte...stay on 146...go through LaPorte, Pasadena, Seabrook, and Kemah-(all the while staying on 146)...then you'll come to Highway 646 at BayCliff...turn left onto 646...go to the end at the flashing light and turn right...a mile or so~spillway/pier on your left.

Good Luck! fish

You will have to walk from McCollum Park...the road name is MCcollum Park Road. Take 1-10 to 3180 and then turn lest on the park road.

Can you walk to the spillway from McCollum or do you have to wade there?

The plant at the Bacliff spillway is in mothballs so there is no warm water discharge and the pier is shut down.A sad and sorry place it is.
The Baytown spillway is a different story. You will need to portage or wade your gear a short distance to get to the actual discharge zone.
