I am going down this weekend and it is supposed to be cold and rainy. Is this good or bad?

It just depends on the currents, how big the waves are and how hard the wind is blowing. It sucks to be fishing in high winds and rain on a cold day. Doesnt sound like fun to me. I have had great luck fishing in the rain in the summer though. Good luck! Keep your eyes open for bait and keep warm. Good luck.

mikeyboy, are you the same MikeyBoy from MAAST?
I don't mind the cold, but fishing in the rain sucks. They usually seem to hit well before and/or after the rain though, dunno if it matter as the water gets deeper though. Where are you headed? I caught a lot of reds out of port o'connor last weekend.
