Hey guys,

How about one of you Noodling gurus ask one of the mods to sticky a noodling thread up there that your guru can create. That way you have a singular place to get the most up to date info on noodling.

I see nearly 5+ threads on noodling. I thought it may be easier for you guys to track down info if needed if it was consolidated.

Just a idea, and I truely am trying to bring a idea to the table.

If you have my vote, I say it sounds like Albert has years of experience so he probably in my opinion would be a good option. Him or Lake Lass, she has excellent forum organizational skills as well as the noodling experience.

If we did that, we would only have 3 threads a day to comment on.

There's nothing wrong with having a thread that has a frequently asked questions topic.

But it would just be simple guidelines.

The noodling thread could be much more informative. Considering that it's new to Texas " Legally " there will be folks looking for information on it very soon.

My idea for it would be something like

1. Description of what noodling is
2. Rules and safety guidelines
3. How to ( Find fish, Locations, Techniques etc )
4. Names of members who have experience and who could be PM'd
with questions relating to Noodling.
5. Post pictures of catches and keep a updated first post on the member and the lbs fish noodled.

Thats a really organized easy to find quick info that most people would ask. What could be even better is I will add a #5
where you keep a name list such as,

John Doe - Flattie - 20lbs - Date

This to me is a no brainer. Will keep the catfish section from getting flooded with all the new folks that will be asking about noodling and it will direct them instantly to the thread with the info and the people with the knowledge.

Easy killer, im trying to keep this on topic and not getting this into a noodling hate thread. I spoke with Albert already and he said he didnt want to start the thread.

Still looking for someone who would be interested in stepping up to help your fellow noodlers out. I would even do it myself, its rediculously easy but I dont know the first thing in noodling.

Any of you noodlers PM me or post up if your interested. I already gave the layout and pretty much did the hard part. Just need someone with experience thats willing to spare 5 mins of forum time to help out.

Heck this might even help people understand noodling more and have a better respect for it.
