I love my Nautic Star 231 hybrid. We catch LOTS of striper and white bass out of it and can use it to pull skiers and tubes as well. I figured out how to configure the front livewell to hold bait consistently. I have the same boat, so pleased with the purchase... Please do tell what you did to the livewell, would like to do this same… Thanks in advance.

22ft 6 inch 227xts. This boat is a beast. Heavy and with the trim tabs have been out in 30 mph winds and we caught a bunch of fish. Only reason i did not get a 24 is it wouldn't fit in the driveway LOL. My boat has lots of room and also room for a big bait tank behind the driver seat. 72 inch terrova keeps the boat steady on spot lock in high winds. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/11/full-56282-118047-boat.jpg)

Another vote for the Nauticstar. Mine is 2007 2200 bay. 22'-6" and 102" beam. Love it. 200 yam to push it. The Ulterra 80lb with 60" shaft is just fine for it. Only in the real bad days do I widh for the 72". ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/11/full-103053-118048-boat_roof.jpg)
