Yes RH sucked tonight for sure. I loaded my twin 4 yr old daughter and my boy who is 8. I was basicaslly going just for them to catch fish and not me. We just could not get on them, I caught 2 fish that were like 4 inches long and I had to work my tale off just to get those. Well it will be a while before they go with me again because all i kept hearing was, this is boring can we swim now. Jeeesss

Hey JV, I really like your "Family" report!! Nice way to mix it up and you nail it on the head. Like your boy, I know our 11 yr old son we will see him less once he finishes high school.

I am the youngest of NINE siblings and I got 21 nephews/nieces. I babysit many of them and now many have grown, got married and have kids of their own and spread out all over the country. So I know how the cycle works, LOL!! So spend as much time with them while you still can wink

It was slow for me as well yesterday afternoon. On at 4:30 off at dark. Only 10 fish total for the day with one drum and 1 green fish in the mix. I left them biting at my first spot to go find better fish but never did. My fish were nice big sandies but no hybrids. I saw some fish come up but they were moving fast! Too many wake boats and jet ski's. Now I remember why I like fishing during the week. Think Im gonna hit t-wak in the morning. I'll let yall know how it goes.

It was great seeing everyone this morning. It was the first time Landry and I have been out since that Twak get-together last summer. Kid has traveling so much racing each month. But like Varner said...family time! But I sure would like to fish MORE!!! I'm glad to see the whole gang is still around with a few new people added. I promise we will get out more often.

My report is the same as all the above. Landry and I really just needed to get the boat out. Didn't winterize, old gas and didn't even need to charge the batteries. Started right up and ran well. Thank goodness.

I think the kid is racing Vegas this weekend, so maybe the following weekend we will see you guys.

Oh yea Terry, quit trying to steal my kids fish. LOL!

Wycough, sorry I did not recognize you Saturday morning. I actually thought you had a ski boat that you fished out of. hammer

Congratulations on your son's racing accomplishments. The last time we talked coming in from Tawak, he was trying to get ready for nationals I think. Sounds like he is a STUD !!! thumb

I was wondering where all the boats were Sat. morning. I guess now I know. The south end was almost empty, of boats that is.

Pat, it was some of the tightest, close quarters fishing I've ever done!!
Goes to show ya that we can
All get along when people have a clue to what they're doing. And everyone around me were pros Saturday morning, it was very impressive to say the least. Didn't hurt that were all friends too.

It was a super cool sight, wished you could have been in the mayham!!!!

See ya out there!!!!
Mike

Mike everyone was on their best behavior since you had your wife with you (Amber?) and your buddy had his wife along! I heard people hollering when she caught a fish. Personally I love to see the women out fishing. I was out with my wife Kathy on vacation recently and she wore the fish out... Of course she learned from the master so she better.... Truth be told she used to just read then once she got started fishing she never quit. She takes them off the hook also. Now if I just teach her cleaning....
