HitmanFO's story kinda hits home with me on that subject. I would also say OX190 hit it right on the head, I'm never gonna swerve again learned my lesson the hard way.

LOL - I'm totally not serious - I just always think of stuff like that. I'd probably shoot the coyote too. slinger

I had 2 run a nice size 8pt across me one year during bow season. Deer's tongue was hanging out they'd been on it so long. Probably a 2 1/2 y/o buck.

I didn't get any photos;but during a small local tournament 2 months ago I got to see 2 coyotes attack 2 does and 3 yearlings. They forced one of the yearlings into the water and would run around the cove and cut him off before he could get away. The deer was crying like a little baby when i got close enough to run the coyotes off.I decided to stay close by and let the deer get on the bank to rest. After a few minutes I saw the yotes sneaking in to finish the job.My boat gun is a Glock 40 SW and it was time for some action. One coyote got away;but the other was sent to the happy hunting grounds.I stayed close by for the next 30 minutes to let the deer rest.I don't know if it survived;but the coyote never came back.
