+1 with Bubba, I had looked for this yesterday but had difficulty locating it. Hand Fishing: Fishing by the use of hands only and without any other fishing device such as gaff, pole, hook, trap or spear. (Effective June 17, 2011) May be used to take channel, blue and flathead catfish in fresh water only. lol, you already missed all the guys arguing about how to do it and why we should or should not... http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/fish/legal_devices/
