I usualy make my runs to the sunken bardges around bolivair landing but this time I want to try (for the first time) the seawolf pocket
or the channel just before the entrance into the park. Can anyone point out to me about wich area would be better. I'm a experienched flounder chaser but just not in this area.

I have been catching a lot of small male flounders almost at will, I assume they are male because they are all measureing around 12 inches.
They are all around the piers on the sanleon shore line but none are keepers.

Thanks for any advice.

you better get there real early, every hole in the GYB is full of anglers by around 8 to 9am. We got out there around 5am. and anglers were already on some of the good spots.

Great catch guys. You can hardly ague with sucess!!! I am going down on Wednesday evening to fish on Thanksgiving day(old lady has to work). I am bringing my boat but don't know the area very well at all. I plan to launch from the marina around 4th street. I have waded the area that many people walk into just before seawolf park so I figured on fishing around there. I have a pretty good map so if you guys would recommend a better spot within a short distance I would jump on it. I normally wouldn't ask such a thing but this will be my only trip down and it would be nice to have a few flat-girls to take to the bakers ball.
Thanks Guys and Happy thanksgiving to you all!!!!!!!!!1

My adress is scott.gilleland@davita.com.
That sounds great. It looks like I may get to go for a few hours tommorrow afternoon as well so I can learn a little before going out on Thursday morning. by the way are you using cast netted bait or artificials? We usually use both. I did good two years ago on glow/chartreuse but I hear that some sort of red is doing well. I have also heard of using a double rig with an artificial and a mullet but I am not sure how to rig it.
Thanks
