101^ @ 6:00 p.m. No where but Texas.... No kidding. If you wanted to fish at night for cooler temps you would have to wait until 3 in the morning to start.

I've been TRYING to tell my out-of-state friends how hot a summer it's been...it wasn't until I went to the deer lease and got this picture before they believed me...LOL

Sometimes I wish my Chihuahuas didn't like the heat so much. Pixie lays out in the sun when it's 100+ degrees and loves it. She's sitting on my shoulder now, like she usually does when I'm at the computer, just like in the photo below that my wife took. When she jumps on my shoulder after sunning outside, she's so hot she feels like a turkey just out of the oven sitting on my shoulder.
