Can any one help with the summer patterns of the sand bass at palestine? I am going in a couple of weeks and I am not real familiar with the lake. Thanks!

Troll the 155 bridge with Hell Pets until you find them. On 7/3 we caught a 5 lb hybrid and a lot of sand bass during the heat of the day. I'm sure it would be even better early or late. We had to go to the Lake Palestine Resort to find a useable ramp.

There are 3 submerged bridges on old 155 roadbed, which is about 10 yds south and parallel to the 155 bridge across the main lake. Whites hang out just off the ends of the bridges - both on the roadbed and in the bar ditches on either side of the roadbed at the ends of the submerged bridges. The old road surfaces on the bridges also hold whites - especially right next to the rails on the sides of the submerged bridges. I fished the bridges 2 weeks ago with a buddy and we caught about 150 whites in about 1 1/2 hrs.

Well I'm out here today if I find them I'll let you know. But I have never been on this lake so I wouldn't hold your breath

Stop by the new tackle shop in Chandler, TX he just opened but a fisherman that knows the hot spots on Lake Palestine. I went by yesterday and bought some lures from him.

It's called Bubba's Tackle beside the hardware store.
