Got these last summer, so I've only worn about one year and they are peeling around the nosepiece and the rubber nosepiece is coming unstuck on both sides.

This was my first time to bite the bullet and buy an "expensive" pair of polarized glasses. If they only last me one or 1.5 seasons, then I'm not sure I'll do it again.

My question is whether or not anyone else is having this problem with these? Is it a Wiley X problem? Or do I have some kind of weird toxic sweat? (It's peeling basically right against where my skin touches)

I got some when I bought a revo and they were free and haven't had any problems had em for a year or so. I like them because they block out alot of light. no problems with the nosepiece...maybe a defective nosepiece? they might still be under warranty?

Mine did the same thing. Not very good quality in my opinion. Get you some costas and you won't have those problems.

Costa's are 100 X's better than Wiley's and Oakley's IMO. But no matter what kind of glasses you buy, you leave them on the fender of your boat trailer and you will more than likely never see them again.

My Costa Permits did the exact same thing as whats being described with the Wiley X's... The rubber started separating from the frames at the nose area, then started coming loose everywhere. Costa made it right, of course for a small fee plus shipping, and sent me a new pair of Permits with the WRONG COLOR LENSES! I was told I would have to pay shipping and processing AGAIN if I wanted to switch them out with a new pair that had the correct lenses.... so I would get to pay for their mistake, great warranty department let me tell ya. bang

my coastas did the same thing after about 5 years. Sent them in and expected to pay for the repair as my Bassett Hound puppy got hold of them one day about 3 years ago and chewed on the end of one of the arms. $11.00 later for handling, and the cost to ship them there, and about 1 week, i had what is just like a new pair of glasses, they replaced the entire frame.

I have a pair I got with my Revo almost 3 years ago. Not a single problem (knock knock) and the best pair of glasses I ever owned.

The rubber nose pieces came off my Wiley-X's. I put a dab of super glue on them.

Thanks guys. Sounds like I'll be glueing them for the time being and start saving for some Costa's.

Any superglue? Or does it need to be a special kind that won't eat the rubber nosepiece?
