Hi my name is Mike Urbanski
I have been a lurker here for some while now reading all I can. But I need to start getting out and trying some of the stuff I have learned from you all.
I am a first time boat owner and now have most of the bugs worked out with me launching and landing the boat by myself. What I am looking for is someone to fish with and help me learn how to fish.
I have 97' Bayliner Quantum w/ 120 Force motor, trolling motor and Humminbird 570(which I am still trying to figure out)
If anyone wants to get out and do some fishing this weekend or ever let me know. I work all weekend so weekends are all I really have to fish.
I have been going to Grapevine mostly just because it is close and cheap. I have been fishing for sand bass and would like to try my hand at catfishing. I know the quickest way to learn is to hire a guide. But right now with the new boat money is kind of tight. I am not asking to split any costs, because I will be going out anyway. Just looking for someone to fish with and learn.

I live by KHS. I can be at Grapevine in 20 min and it costs $5 to launch. If I go to Lake Country on EM where my folks live it takes 35 min and $15 to launch. I like EM a lot but right now while I am still learning and making short trips to the lake Grapevine is the ticket.
