Really good lure when the trout are after shrimp. As always you have to see what they're wacking at the time. If there are no shrimp in the bays and the trout are after finger mullet, the DOA will not get as many hits. Sometime small Fin-S plastics work extremely well when they're after glass minnows.
With me there are nites when all the big specks were caught on all clear DOA's. They last a helluva long time too as they'll slide up and off the hook when a fish is on so they don't tear up as bad.

All I know is sometimes it out produces shrimp if fished slow like in the DOA video. No matter how I fish it from just using it alone with no cork to using it with a popping cork it is a go to bait when speckle trout eat shrimp. Sometime I get the glow die the tail pink and put glitter on it at the house. Then when I get on the water it is read to go and is different when everyone in the boat with me is using DOA. One time I used the chartruse, let the lure hit the bottom, and every cast for 1 hour period I got a speckletrout every cast. My friends were not catching **** with their DOA under the popping cork and this was just funny.

So you caught more than 60 trout in one hour without someone catching one???? .... I don't believe it.

I don't think he said he was catching one per minute nor casting every minute, cause you're supposed to work this lure slowly. He is just saying he caught a lot in an hour's time. I'm just saying. Just a friendly comment no need to write me ugly replies, lol.
