My wife and I are in Port Aransas with a friend and his wife and on the coming Monday the wives have agreed to go on a guided bay trip with us if we could find a good guide! Now I turn to the experts, could anyone recommend a good bay fishing guide

You'll have a tough time getting a good on the weekends if you haven't pre-booked. They fill up fast. Your best chance will be to find someone during the week that has an empty slot.

I'd check at Woodies and some of the other bait shops at the marina and see who's available.

I have a friend, I am sure he's booked up for the weekend, but check out jubalee guide service, he might have stuff open during the week.

Capt. George Herzog, or Capt. Claude "Cowboy" Ward, or Capt. Frank Duxsted. I've fished with all of these guys in the last couple of years, and they're all nice guys and well equipped.

Call Deep sea headquarters and see if either Mark Jones or Mitchell Collins are available I have fished with both numerous times and both are great.
