Can you tell if the prop is spun if you just take it off and look at it. Or do you have to put two marks on it and take it out and run it and see if marks are alighned. Reason for asking lost a lot of speed all of a sudden.

If you lost speed and gained RPMs then it is more than likely a spun hub. You can not really tell by looking at the ones with rubber hubs.

yep. mark it and run again.

could also be a bent blade or loss of cupping,etc.
