The seat is probably ok, had the same one on my last yak. Can definitely do better though.

A lot. You can find some cheaper than what I paid for on TKF and Craigslist. Just depends on what you are looking for. I will say the resale value on kayaks are amazing, wish I had a good one to sell. I just sold two sinks that I bought used two years ago for double what I paid for them.

I love my Ride. Hate the seat though. Still not a dealbreaker with how easy it is to fish out of.
