Putting this in our 6 acre lake at the ranch. What do you think? We stock lake with baitfish and have grown some really nice bass up to DD size. Not a lot of structure in this lake other than creek channel and boulders. I hope this works. Opinions???

more crates... the more surface areas - the better.

I was thinking about wrapping christmas trees under the main bar of this deal. That way bait would ball up and the bass would sit under the crates ready to ambush.
Thoughts????

Does it look grabby???
Like a crank would easily hang up in it?
First rodeo with one of these. Much cheaper to build than buy.

Much better than that crappy little stuff you see in the adds. Put some wood on it to get the algae growing quicker... Just a thought.

Looks good! I might add a few more crates to it doesn't hurt. Also might try and sand some of the smooth pvc up some to make some ruff areas. Will help algae grow which will attract the baitfish. And yes that makeup has got crankbait grapper all over it, LOL. But hey if it attracts the big fish it's worth it.

Looks great. May get hung up pretty easy using crankbaits but shouldnt be that bad using texas rig. I want to make some bushes with some of that 1/2 in pvc. Get a bucket fill it with concrete and just stick the pipe all around like a 3 or 4 ft bush. Wouldnt snag easy.

If you have any downed trees, pull um in the spot that looks the best and keep adding to the pond until your happy. Fish will be happy i assure you. nothing beets real wood.

Yellow,
I was thinking about sinking it in 8-10 ft. Max depth is 15 ft in the creek channel and there is a big flat at 4-5 ft. I thought the mid way point between the creek and flat would be good.
